A Welcome from Mrs. Lerille

Welcome to Brown-Barge Middle School for the 2016 - 2017 School Year! I am so happy to have been welcomed into the Brown-Barge family! I have been a school counselor at the middle school level for nine years in Colorado prior to moving to Florida. I love working with middle school aged children and have enjoyed getting to know your students over the past few weeks.

I attended the University of Southern Colorado for my undergraduate degree in Psychology. After working in a variety of clinical settings I decided that I wanted to pursue my Master’s Degree to become a School Counselor. In 2004 I received a Masters of Education in Counseling from Colorado State University. I then began working for Pueblo City Schools as a Guidance Counselor at Pitts Middle School.

In the summer of 2013 my family and I moved to the Pensacola area. I have been married for 17 years and we have 4 children. We are very excited to be living in “paradise” and have had a wonderful welcome to this area.

I have an “open door” policy regarding students and parents. Please come and see me any time you have problems, concerns or questions and encourage your students to do the same!
